TL;DR

Director, Clinical Ultrasound Operations – Home Services (Medtech): Leading the delivery, adoption, and growth of ultrasound services across home-based and community care settings with an accent on clinical quality, customer outcomes, and operational scalability. Focus on developing training programs, optimizing workflows, building scalable processes, and mentoring clinical teams to ensure consistent standards and expansion.

Location: Hybrid position based in Burlington, MA or New York City, NY. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Salary: around $225,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do

  • Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for ultrasound service delivery in home and community care.
  • Lead customer onboarding, training, and adoption support for new sites and clinical teams.
  • Develop scalable training programs, materials, and competency frameworks for internal and external teams.
  • Recruit, hire, mentor Clinical Program Managers and field-based staff, building a growing clinical team.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally for service expansion.
  • Establish processes, quality standards, and foster a culture of accountability and customer partnership.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in diagnostic ultrasound with POCUS expertise; current ARDMS certification (RDMS, RVT, and/or RDCS) required.
  • Experience training customers or clinical teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership or people management experience.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and operational mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

  • Registered Nurse.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state programs.
  • Experience in long-term care, home health, or community-based care.
  • Customer success or implementation leadership experience.
  • Experience building scalable training programs.
  • Familiarity with remote interpretation workflows and distributed care models.
