What you will do

• Lead design and architecture of cloud-native, distributed systems for massive scale and concurrency on GCP.
• Write high-quality Java code integrating SQL/NoSQL databases and advanced caching strategies.
• Champion critical thinking in discussions to refine requirements and explore solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude throughout development workflow.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, share knowledge, and drive projects to ensure quality and resilience.
• Take ownership of milestones in a team-first environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with backend focus
• Expert Java proficiency
• Proven experience with highly concurrent, high-throughput distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of scalability patterns: EDA, CQRS, Outbox
• Deep SQL/NoSQL experience and caching for performance
• Hands-on GCP experience
• Mandatory use of AI coding assistants in workflow
• Architectural/critical thinking and communication skills
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience with contact centers, VoIP, or telecom
