C++ Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and enhance core trading systems processing incoming messages, matching trades, and implementing RFQ, click-to-trade, list trading protocols.
• Work in a small, high-performing software development team.
• Collaborate with technical team members and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the trading technology stack using modern AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT for onboarding, code analysis, bottleneck identification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years professional C++14/20 development in Windows/Linux environments.
• Strong CS fundamentals: OOP, STL, multithreading, concurrency.
• Experience with high-performance systems (low-latency, high-throughput, distributed).
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, latency, throughput).
• Strong debugging skills for large codebases; strong communication for cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience developing financial software or trading systems (Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Experience with SQL stored procedures, relational database design.
