Electrical Test Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and execute structured test plans, translating requirements into test cases for board, subsystem, and system-level electrical verification.
• Perform functional, regression, environmental, and reliability testing, documenting results and supporting root cause analysis.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test equipment (ATE) for PCBAs, harnesses, power systems, and assemblies.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB, integrating oscilloscopes, DAQs, power supplies, and test fixtures.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems, and manufacturing teams on design reviews, testability, and production transitions.
• Contribute to lab infrastructure, process improvements, and compliance with safety/quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3–6 years in electrical test engineering, hardware validation, or related role
• Working knowledge of engineering design lifecycle and verification processes
• Experience with electrical lab instrumentation and measurement techniques
• Experience developing/maintaining automated test scripts (Python, LabVIEW, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting across analog, digital, and power electronics
• Ability to work in cross-functional engineering environments

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, defense, maritime, or ruggedized hardware
• Familiarity with power/battery systems or embedded hardware
• Exposure to manufacturing test, DFM/DFT principles
• Requirements traceability and structured test documentation
