TL;DR

Location: NYC; must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end billing infrastructure including payment processor integrations, subscription lifecycle, payment methods, and credits system
  • Build scalable credits and entitlements system supporting promotional credits, gifted access, and usage-based models
  • Support payments integrity by configuring fraud detection, reducing dispute rates, and managing chargeback thresholds
  • Define revenue recovery strategy with retry logic, dunning, and delinquency communications to cut involuntary churn
  • Manage compliance for PCI DSS, SCA, and payment regulations as expanding internationally
  • Develop billing health instrumentation for key metrics like success rates, authorization, recovery, and disputes
  • Partner with growth engineering on payment optimizations, card updates, and checkout improvements

Requirements

  • 6+ years product management experience, 3+ years owning payments, billing, or subscription infrastructure at consumer/B2C product
  • Hands-on Stripe/RevenueCat experience, understanding object model and debugging billing issues
  • Depth in subscription lifecycle: trials, renewals, proration, upgrades/downgrades, entitlements
  • Experience designing/improving dunning flows with impact on churn recovery
  • Payment risk fluency: fraud tooling, decline categories, rule tuning in high-volume environment
  • Comfort driving decisions cross-functionally with legal, finance, compliance, engineering

Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile app store billing (App Store IAP, Google Play)
  • Credits/wallet system design for digital goods
  • Working across multiple PSPs
