Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + excellent package

What you will do

• Review and assess existing systems and processes to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency
• Support design and implementation of infrastructure solutions and contribute to technical decisions
• Maintain technical documentation and resolve issues, working with third parties as needed
• Manage complex incidents, ensure security compliance, and support SLAs
• Oversee maintenance and lifecycle of core infrastructure including systems, storage, and platforms

Requirements

• Experience in Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
• Strong experience with enterprise virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure)
• Good knowledge of Azure networking, compute, and storage
• Windows Server and Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS)
• Storage, backup, DR solutions (SAN/NAS, Veeam, Commvault, Zerto)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Cisco, Meraki), monitoring, security tools, PowerShell scripting
