TL;DR
HR Generalist (Germany): Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and HR operations with an accent on German employment regulations, compliance, and payroll coordination. Focus on ensuring labor law adherence, resolving employee queries, and driving process improvements for scalability in a global organization.
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office), Germany primary focus, exposure to Poland or other European markets advantage, Fluent German and English mandatory, working hours 08:00–17:00 CET

What you will do
- Manage full employee lifecycle (hire to exit) focusing on German employment regulations
- Handle employee queries, HR policies, and best practices as main point of contact
- Ensure compliance with German labor law, social security, tax regulations, and monitor changes
- Oversee payroll inputs, coordination, and resolution of discrepancies
- Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Accounting, and business leaders cross-functionally
- Drive HR process improvements, standardization, and global HR initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years HR Generalist / Operations experience with strong Germany focus
- In-depth knowledge of German labor law, payroll, taxation, social security, employee lifecycle
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Payroll)
- Fluent German and English (mandatory)
- Strong problem-solving, independent work, excellent communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with relocation processes to Germany
- Background in international or scaling companies
- Exposure to Poland or other European markets
- Experience building or improving HR processes internationally
