Factory Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet specifications and standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve product quality.
• Develop strategies for cost reduction through material optimization, production techniques, and waste minimization.
• Manage supplier quality with the contract manufacturer to ensure standards compliance.
• Conduct audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Prepare documentation, provide training to CM team, and collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering, preferably battery energy storage or related
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies, lean manufacturing, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of battery energy storage systems and enclosure fabrication.
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
