What you will do

• Develop multi-tenant distributed storage systems balancing strategic infrastructure and immediate engineering needs
• Build reliable, resilient, fault-tolerant, self-healing services and infrastructure
• Define and configure metrics to detect incidents and measure service health, availability, performance
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve storage infrastructure issues
• Optimize infrastructure performance across application, system, and kernel levels

Requirements

• Based in Dublin, Ireland for hybrid model
• 6+ years in software development and operating distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar language
• Experience operating stateful storage or database systems at scale, understanding durability/consistency/recovery
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Linux internals and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, routing)
• Customer-focused mindset, preference for automation over manual processes
