Junior DevOps Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Junior DevOps Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Automating deployment, orchestration, and observability for a cybersecurity product with an accent on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code. Location: Hybrid; Must be based in Ireland with a valid work visa or citizenship and willing to commute to the Dublin office 2-3 days a week.

What you will do

• Write automation scripts and programs to streamline routine operational tasks.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes across product teams.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Bicep/ARM.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and supporting services.
• Contribute to GitOps workflows using Argo CD for declarative and auditable deployments.
• Maintain observability tooling including Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems/cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Must be based in Ireland with a valid work visa or citizenship.

Nice to have

• Azure (AZ-104), AWS, Kubernetes (CKAD), or Linux certifications.
• Exposure to GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience with Windows-based environments and troubleshooting.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
