Senior Sales Executive – Maritime (Sales Hunter & Closer): Hunt new business and close deals for SmartSea offerings in shipping, cruise lines, ports, and maritime tech with an accent on revenue growth and market penetration. Focus on full-cycle sales engagements, Challenger methodology, and consultative solutioning to deliver ACV.
Location: EURO Region AND MEA Region (Amman, Jordan; Rome, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Cairo, Egypt; Casablanca, Morocco). Travel: 30% across maritime hubs and client sites + Cyprus. Flex Week: work from home up to 2 days/week (depending on team needs).

What you will do
- Own top-of-funnel for maritime clients including shipping, cruise lines, ports, port authorities, terminal operators, and tech partners.
- Build and maintain high-velocity sales pipeline with conversion targets and aggressive timelines.
- Lead full-cycle sales from first contact to signed contract, delivering new business ACV.
- Apply Challenger methodology to teach, tailor, and control client conversations, challenging assumptions and driving urgency.
- Act as trusted advisor, co-creating solutions aligned with client operational maturity and goals.
- Sell SmartSea offerings like biometrics, baggage handling, connectivity, fleet performance, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Minimal 4 years experience closing complex B2B deals, projects, and contracts in maritime, shipping, cargo, cruise, oil&gas, or adjacent sectors.
- Evidence of Challenger approach or consultative selling.
- Highly driven with focus on deal velocity, ACV growth, and winning.
- Deep understanding of EURO or MEA maritime markets, regulatory frameworks, and port operations.
- Strong network across port authorities, cruise lines, and maritime tech vendors.
- Revenue-driven mindset, proactive, relentless, strategic closer, competitive spirit.
