What you will do

• Provide leadership for projects covering scope, risk, timing, cost, and quality.
• Serve as main customer point of contact, communicating weekly updates and resolving issues.
• Report status to customers and internal teams, share best practices post-project.
• Drive team cooperation, conflict resolution, negotiation, and budget adherence.
• Create RFQs, develop quotes, manage milestone timelines, and kickoff projects.
• Develop and manage issues lists, communicate weekly, and drive resolutions.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of project management best practices including MS Project, Excel, critical path analysis, and change management.
• History of managing customer contracts, relationships, and indirect teams.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, active listening, and decision-making skills.
• Travel to sites up to 30% of the time, domestic and international.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in industrial automation or engineering services and 5+ years in project management.
• PMP desired.
