Salary: $121,400 to $166,900 annually (California-specific)

What you will do

• Deliver premium technical support to assigned customers and drive design wins in target accounts and technologies.
• Lead proof-of-concept, solution design, and demonstrations to secure NXP design-ins.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product roadmaps and direct design-in campaigns.
• Qualify sales opportunities, establish NXP value proposition, and own system software architect role.
• Build relationships with sales, business lines, partners, and customers; educate sales on new technologies.
• Develop system-level knowledge of Automotive and Industrial applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent; minimum 5 years in microprocessor-based embedded systems development or applications support
• Field Application Engineering experience in semiconductors
• Experience with C/C++ and embedded firmware development
• Knowledge of SoC interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, SDIO, LPDDR4/5, SPI, USB, UART, I2C)
• ARM Cortex A/M/R architectures; Real-Time OS (QNX, FreeRTOS, Zephyr preferred)
• Willing to travel up to 30% within continental US
