Salary: $156,000 - $186,000

What you will do

• Define and build the satellite bus platform and flight systems.
• Design and implement embedded software and firmware using ARM Cortex-M CPUs.
• Develop application, platform, and driver functionality for the flight software environment.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on the design and bring-up of spacecraft hardware.
• Integrate compute and peripheral subsystems and develop hardware-in-the-loop test strategies.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems fundamentals (RTOS, low-level drivers, IRQ handling).
• Experience with bit manipulation, communication buses, and reading hardware data sheets.
• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export regulations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of industry-standard data formats such as ProtoBuf, YAML, and JSON.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Familiarity with FPGA, embedded Linux, RF communication systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in end-to-end product development from concept to market.
