Salary: $158,000 – $247,275

What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of end-to-end DSP pipelines for reactor control systems.
• Develop digital filtering, detection, and estimation algorithms for real-time applications.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to interface with mixed-signal systems including ADCs and DACs.
• Implement signal processing on embedded processors and FPGA platforms using C/C++ and HDL.
• Conduct test planning, verification, and system debugging for high-reliability embedded platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and real-time signal analysis.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ development and RTOS experience.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA design, simulation, and HDL coding (VHDL/Verilog).
• Understanding of mixed-signal systems including sampling theory and quantization effects.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must be able to comply with U.S. export controls (no visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in a related engineering field.
• Experience with high-reliability or harsh environments such as nuclear, aerospace, or defense.
• Knowledge of radiation effects on digital systems and radiation-tolerant design.
• Experience with nuclear instrumentation and low-SNR signal environments.
