What you will do

• Optimize the Playground operating system to push motion gaming boundaries.
• Integrate state-of-the-art image processing, CV, and ML algorithms.
• Take control of low-level SoC functions, including NPU, ISP, and GPU pipelines, to ensure best-in-class throughput.
• Enable deep, end-to-end integration across applications, firmware, and hardware.
• Build a high-performance technology stack for innovative interactive experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in embedded system software development.
• 1+ years of experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Proficiency in system debugging tools such as perfetto, systrace, tcpdump, and Arm Mobile Studio.
• Deep knowledge of Android/Linux OS, hardware abstraction layers (HAL), task scheduling, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of computer architectures, memory access patterns, caching, and hardware acceleration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with image processing, graphical pipelines, cameras, and ISPs.
• Domain knowledge of neural networks, NPUs, Arm Cortex CPUs, and Mali GPUs.
• Experience with bootloaders, system initialization, and deploying ML applications on the edge.
• Interest in venture business and startup environments.
