What you will do
- Lead day-to-day general ledger accounting and end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes per US GAAP.
- Supervise and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.
- Administer ERP systems like NetSuite, optimize workflows, manage integrations, and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor daily cash flow, prepare forecasts, and optimize working capital with the finance team.
- Oversee accounts payable, expense reporting, payroll, commissions, and benefits accounting.
- Design scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; support external audits.
Requirements
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally mix of public and in-house, preferably at pre-IPO/high-growth tech/health tech.
- Active CPA license strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in month-end closes and general ledger accounting.
- Proven experience supervising accounting staff.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) including administration and optimization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable, expense management, payroll/benefits accounting.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
