Associate Product Engineer

TL;DR

Associate Product Engineer (Missile Systems): Support missile control actuation systems with full technical responsibility for assigned production programs, including resolving design, manufacture, assembly, and test issues. Focus on providing production instructions, performing engineering analyses for non-conformances, developing RCCA, and coordinating for on-time delivery.

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 Annually

What you will do

• Provide production assembly/test instructions, including Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures, and engineering memos.
• Support evaluation and implementation of equipment like assembly fixtures, tools, and test systems for operations.
• Maintain design integrity, producibility, and quality in development and production products.
• Perform engineering analysis for non-conformances during assembly and test, and develop RCCA for long-term solutions.
• Collaborate on MRB analyses, notice of escape evaluations, and resolve production problems across departments.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to overcome roadblocks and ensure on-time hardware delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or comparable field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to write work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation; GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Technical expertise in pneumatic or electromechanical actuation products, electronics, and related technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
