What you will do

• Apply engineering principles to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for electronic and mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, including reports, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute design solutions.
• Communicate design progress and resolve technical issues during the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to meet eligibility for classified information access.
• Understanding of mechanical design philosophy and process flow.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and MS Office applications.
• Ability to resolve technical issues throughout the design and execution process.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with design reviews and evaluating design concepts.
