Mainframe CICS Operations

What you will do

• Monitor and support CICS transactional applications to maintain performance, availability, and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve issues affecting transaction response times and system stability.
• Use CICS Explorer, z/OS tools, and other mainframe tools for daily operational support and monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to maintain and improve mainframe operations.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and operational activities according to support standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting mainframe environments, particularly CICS transactional applications.
• Proficiency with CICS Explorer and z/OS tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in transactional system environments.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to resolve availability and performance issues.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation, incident reporting, and communication with global teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience supporting performance-critical transactional systems.
• Exposure to structured incident management and reporting practices.
