TL;DR
Graduate Engineer, Electrical (Underground T-Line): Develop engineering deliverables for underground transmission line projects with an accent on power systems, equipment selection, and basic calculations. What you will do
- Develop familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, engineering codes, and company policies.
- Contribute to engineering deliverables like drawings, reports, specifications, and studies.
- Perform routine research, equipment/materials selection, data management, and basic calculations.
- Support project coordination, quality programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in EDGE rotational program across 3–4 roles, including field assignment, with mentorship and development sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program; GPA 3.0+
- Less than 2 years professional experience (internships excluded)
- Work authorization required; no visa sponsorship
- Ability to complete pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, motor vehicle).
- Intermittent travel and short/long-term relocation to project sites/regional offices.
Nice to have
- Coursework in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, Three Phase Power.
- Previous internship, GPA 3.5+, basic design principles knowledge.
- Insights into industry trends, construction practices, problem-solving, communication skills.
