What you will do

• Plan and execute high-power test activities for large UPS systems, PDUs, STSs, and energy storage solutions.
• Define and maintain test procedures, acceptance criteria, and documentation for functional and performance testing.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and NEC safety standards, conducting risk assessments and LOTO procedures.
• Implement Lean principles and 5S standards to improve test flow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Facilities teams to align test requirements with design intent.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and technicians, establishing performance metrics and training plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in high-power electrical systems testing.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, STSs, and energy storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with load banks and high-voltage test environments.
• Experience implementing 5S and Lean principles in engineering or manufacturing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with UL, IEC, and IEEE standards.
• Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
