What you will do

• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing all safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Approve and coordinate equipment removal from service for maintenance, ensuring proper lockout/tagout, permitting, and clearance procedures.
• Ensure plant operations remain within all environmental limits, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to and manage emergencies, incidents, injuries, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Train, develop, and manage a skilled, flexible, and motivated operating team.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in power generation or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation systems.
• Formal technical training required; engineering degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to sit for the required testing and complete the Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ASME QRO Provisional License and a Site-Specific Operator’s License.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required for 24/7 operations.
