What you will do

• Develop protection and control design deliverables: protective relays, panel arrangements, one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring.
• Create physical design deliverables: yard layouts, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, auxiliary power systems.
• Prepare equipment specifications, BOMs, correspond with clients/vendors/subcontractors.
• Adhere to design budgets/schedules, perform QA/QC, support business development.
• Potential travel to client/vendor sites for reviews, coordination, verification.
• Assign tasks to entry-level professionals/interns, mentor as skills develop.

Requirements

• Burlington, MA, US location; bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
• Complete pre-employment onboarding: background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records.
• Knowledge of departmental design guides, standards, engineering codes, B&V policies.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables, calculations, data management.
• Interact with clients, project leadership, other disciplines.

Nice to have

• High voltage substation design experience – Physical and/or Protection & Controls.
• Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
