Facilities TSA: Supporting all areas of the fiber facility with an accent on preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Focus on ensuring regulatory checks, managing regulated waste, and resolving daily facilities issues.

What you will do

• Coordinate and facilitate completion of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure all regulatory checks on facilities and environmental control equipment are completed and paperwork remains organized.
• Ensure all regulated Waste is properly labeled and organized along with scheduling of the disposal of the waste.
• Identify facility corrective maintenance needs through visual inspection and/or review of data gathered during facilities daily inspection logs.
• Act as a Medical first responder in the Fiber plant.
• Work with the technical staff to resolve daily facilities issues.

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner.
• Ability to read and understand Electrical schematics to aid in equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.

Nice to have

• Associates Degree in Engineering or technology.
• Experience in fiber optic manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS System.
