hirify.global, a PlayStation Studio, is building a new exclusive AAA live-service IP as the first Sony development team based in Canada.

What you will do

• Plan deliverables and validate feasibility throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the engine and rendering engineering teams, prioritizing daily operations in an Agile environment.
• Break down complex technical requirements into actionable roadmaps.
• Drive decision-making processes and ensure technical alignment across stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members while managing performance and well-being.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and assessing new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience shipping one or more AAA titles, including post-launch.
• Experience in directly managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency with JIRA for tracking and reporting deliverables.
• Technical background with the ability to discuss complex systems and make minor code contributions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of Unreal Engine production pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of C++.
• Experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Previous work on live service titles.
