Event Security Officer (Part-Time)

What you will do

• Check bags and screen guests and employees to ensure overall safety.
• Control access to the arena, screen visitors, vehicles, and equipment.
• Assist and control guest ingress and egress.
• Observe and report on security threats along the building’s perimeter.
• Escort guests, clients, employees, artists, performers, and players into and out of the venue.
• Monitor controlled access points and verify credentials for restricted zones.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of security, military, law enforcement, or venue-based crowd control experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Security experience with an understanding of security procedures and guest relations.
• Familiarity with radios, Closed Circuit Television Systems and other security devices.
• Must have the ability and interpersonal skills to effectively assist guests, clients, and employees.
• Ability to work outdoors in desert conditions, including extreme heat, direct sun exposure, dust, and dry environments.
