Human Capital Management (HCM) Strategy, Senior Transformation and Change Management, Vice President (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; office-based role

Salary: $100,000–$250,000 base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, global HCM transformation initiatives involving enterprise applications, AI and automation.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and issues using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Design and lead change management, communication and adoption strategies for new HCM solutions, including AI chatbots.
• Manage relationships with senior leaders, business partners and stakeholders, securing alignment and executive buy-in.
• Establish quality standards, track KPIs and quantify project outcomes, efficiency gains and employee experience improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement while coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Technology or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex, large-scale project and change management initiatives, preferably in financial services or a similarly regulated, fast-paced environment.
• Expertise across the full lifecycle of AI- and automation-driven solutions, from conceptual design and strategic planning through implementation and sustained adoption.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent projects, delivering on time and within budget.
• Advanced organizational, time management, analytical, strategic problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with enterprise-grade project management platforms and collaboration tools.
• Superior executive-level written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex concepts to senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a leader in a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• PMP, Agile or another relevant project management certification.
• Knowledge of product management, engineering, user experience, user research, HR, AI, automation, recruiting or customer support.
