Transformation Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; strong preference for candidates near onX offices in Bozeman or Missoula, Montana, or Basecamps in Austin, Denver, Kalispell, Minneapolis, Portland, Salt Lake City, or Seattle. Candidates must reside in a state where onX can employ team members; permanent US work authorization is required. Travel up to quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or strategic location may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 upon hire, plus a 10% annual performance bonus and common share options.

What you will do

• Own transformation initiatives and operating model workstreams from scoping and implementation through transition to ongoing business ownership.
• Translate priorities into plans covering milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, and decision points.
• Develop and execute change management plans for new processes, technologies, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Assess operational readiness, identify adoption barriers, and coordinate communication, training, and support.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, resolve delivery obstacles, communicate progress, and support timely decisions.
• Use AI tools to improve analysis, planning, problem-solving, and communication while developing reusable transformation tools and practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, business transformation, or operating model delivery, including enterprise-wide or functional transformations.
• Ability to independently manage initiatives or workstreams from planning through implementation, including stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong organizational change management, problem-solving, organizational, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience defining and tracking project outcomes or adoption measures and using data and feedback to recommend improvements.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve day-to-day work, analysis, or problem-solving with sound judgment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Experience supporting enterprise-wide or cross-functional transformation initiatives involving multiple business teams.

• Experience developing or improving change management tools, templates, or practices.
• Experience supporting organizational adoption of AI or automation, including usage, adoption, or business-impact tracking.
• Experience delivering change initiatives in SaaS, high-growth technology, or similarly complex environments.
