TL;DR

Field Service Technician (Electromechanical): Providing support to customers and delivering services related to electromechanical equipment maintenance with an accent on preventative and emergency maintenance. Focus on diagnosing and resolving issues on systems, including mechanical embossers, thermal image application, and laminating.

Location: On-site in Columbus, OH

Salary: $22.68-$35.65 per hour

What you will do

  • Perform preventative and emergency maintenance services on hirify.global equipment.
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve issues on systems, including mechanical embossers and thermal image applications.
  • Maintain accurate trunk inventory levels and follow established service reporting processes.
  • Interact with customer operations staff and improve customer relations.
  • Participate in company-sponsored personal development and quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.
  • Proficient problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient with PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software applications.
  • Ability and willingness to drive to customer sites daily.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts and be on-call.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Valid and active driver's license.

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or related field.
  • Additional electromechanical technician or field service experience.
  • Proficient in electro-mechanics, digital electronics, and software.
  • Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment.
