Field Service Technician (Electrical Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery systems (2-120KVA).
• Provide on-site and phone technical assistance to retail, financial, and municipal customers.
• Implement Field Change Notices and remain current on safety bulletins and service tips.
• Manage administrative tasks including time cards, expense reports, and inventory cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Technical Support to resolve complex procedural or technical issues.
• Strive for a "first time fix" to maintain high customer satisfaction rates.

Requirements

• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience or 2-4 years of military experience in a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Must successfully pass a drug test, pre-employment background check, and motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
