Engineering Manager (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid: 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Nurture and mentor a team of high-performing software engineers through regular 1:1s and actionable feedback.
• Distill team scope and lead hiring efforts to build a balanced, high-functioning engineering unit.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define and execute an optimal product roadmap.
• Evaluate and improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and architectural decision-making.
• Champion an inclusive culture of psychological safety combined with technical rigor.
• Foster strong cross-functional bonds with Marketing, Data Science, and Business Operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing a Product Engineering team of four or more engineers.
• 7+ years of industry experience deploying applications across large, complex codebases.
• Strong technical foundation to navigate tradeoffs in product engineering decisions.
• Proven ability to translate and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office 3 days per week.
