TL;DR
Quality Manager (Hardware): Establishing and scaling end-to-end quality systems for hardware operations, from supplier qualification to NPI and field returns with an accent on ISO 9001 standards and process control methodologies. Focus on driving cross-functional alignment, managing ODM/CM relationships, and ensuring compliance across product life cycles to support rapid company growth.
Location: Remote in Europe/UK, or Onsite/Hybrid in Netherlands (Eindhoven/Amsterdam), Italy, Belgium, France, Switzerland, UK. Relocation to the Netherlands is available.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end quality functions including IQC, OQC, and RMA processes for hardware products.
- Lead supplier quality management, including audits, qualification, and non-conformance resolution.
- Embed quality gates into the NPI process and manage DFM/DFT feedback loops.
- Maintain regulatory product certifications such as CE, FCC, and UL.
- Establish and govern the Operations quality management system aligned with ISO 9001.
- Drive root cause analysis culture using structured methodologies like 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hardware/electronics quality management experience.
- Experience in semiconductor, chip-level, or system integration environments.
- Direct experience managing ODM/CM relationships and conducting supplier audits.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies: 8D, FMEA, CAPA, SPC, and control plans.
- Strong English communication skills for global, cross-functional collaboration.
- Must be based in Europe or the UK for remote roles, or willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Nice to have
- Experience in AI/ML hardware, PCIe/M.2 form-factor products, or AI SBCs.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent QMS qualification.
- Background working in a hardware scale-up or early-stage company.
