What you will do

• Drive the implementation of technical initiatives to improve the quality of the product.
• Partner with Product to impact the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs.
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team as well as other engineering teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of features.
• Work closely with architects to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of our Marketplace products.
• Take ownership of engineering decisions for larger topics and features.
• Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development (ideally with PHP/Symfony).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Fluency in both Lithuanian and English.
