What you will do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software features and enhancements for IBM z/OS Storage monitoring products.
• Take ownership of component design and practically solve for architectural anti-patterns.
• Act as the technical subject matter expert for the product domain and define component architectures.
• Break down larger stories and features into technical tasks and provide work estimates and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Support and SEs to resolve critical customer issues and understand client business problems.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure thorough testing and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in IBM z/OS Assembler (HLASM) development and debugging.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development and debugging.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IBM z/OS operating systems environments and facilities (JES, ISPF).
• Experience with IBM z/OS Storage Management.
