Location: Hybrid (Lithuania or Poland) or Remote (Work from Anywhere policy)
Salary: €5,600–€7,200 / 23,800–33,400 PLN per month

What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve high-traffic, business-critical backend services.
- Lead architectural decisions regarding domain modeling and service boundaries.
- Drive the evolution of the next-generation service platform alongside senior and lead engineers.
- Identify system bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements for long-term growth.
- Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from design to production.
- Write clean, well-tested code and raise overall engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a backend or software engineer building production systems.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API design.
- Experience working with databases, messaging systems, and distributed components.
- Confidence in selecting and working with different programming languages and stacks.
- Experience participating in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
Nice to have
- Experience building or scaling platforms serving millions of requests.
- Working knowledge of PHP, Go, or Node.js ecosystems.
- Experience designing systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and operational concerns.
