What you will do

• Formulate and execute the backend technical strategy, roadmap, and system architecture plan aligned with business and regulatory goals.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of backend development for core systems including spot/derivative trading, payments, and user authentication.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performance backend engineering team, managing performance and professional development.
• Ensure system security, data privacy, and compliance with global regulatory standards like FATF and MiCA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, app development, and risk control teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and technical risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend development experience with at least 5+ years in senior team management.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English (oral and written) is required for cross-departmental communication.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies using Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Proven experience in designing scalable, high-availability architectures for high-concurrency financial or trading systems.
• Strong understanding of backend security, DevOps practices (CI/CD, Kubernetes), and digital asset compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in compliant digital currency exchanges or large-scale fintech institutions.
• Proven track record in leading architectural transformations (e.g., monolith to microservices).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CKA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
