What you will do

• Develop and integrate APIs from payment providers, banks, and third parties across multiple countries.
• Collaborate with the FinOps team and providers to resolve customer-facing payment issues.
• Optimise existing systems for scalability, extensibility, and performance using modular code.
• Ensure high security by employing advanced encryption schemes to protect user and company data.
• Advocate for best engineering practices, code quality, and comprehensive test coverage.
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software for blockchain users.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience building and shipping highly-available, fault-tolerant distributed backend systems.
• Deep proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
• Confidence in building, debugging, and shipping microservices.
• Commitment to high levels of test coverage, strong technical documentation, and effective monitoring.
• A strong passion for cryptocurrency and its transformative potential.
• Must be based in the Philippines.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
