What you will do

• Lead end-to-end quarterly external audit processes as the primary point of contact.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for financial records, ledger verification, and bank reconciliation approvals.
• Design and implement new financial processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Consolidate revenue and expense data across various systems including QuickBooks and HubSpot.
• Prepare company and client-specific reports, including AR/AP aging schedules and business reviews.
• Manage technical stakeholders and handle complex accounting inquiries under pressure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting.
• Previous experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
• Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables and modeling.
• Must be based in Costa Rica
• English language proficiency required

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active CPA-track candidacy.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Experience with intercompany reporting for parent-subsidiary structures.
