What you will do

• Interpret corporate client requirements to source the most appropriate venues for meetings and events.
• Proactively find and evaluate venues both in the UK and internationally based on budget and standards.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms with venues to ensure best value for clients.
• Manage and secure contracts in compliance with client needs and internal company standards.
• Collaborate with the finance team to handle contract administration, invoicing, and payments.
• Share knowledge and best practices to assist in the training and development of colleagues.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to Derby, United Kingdom
• Proven experience using venue booking systems.
• Extensive knowledge of UK and international meeting and event venues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first approach.
• Ability to maintain high-quality service and remain calm under pressure.
