What you will do

• Develop scientific and strategic value aligned with clients' plans and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with account management teams to build and advance long-term client partnerships.
• Support Scientific Directors in crafting scientific strategies based on deep therapy area knowledge.
• Ensure the integration of core editorial processes and best-practice writing principles within project teams.
• Conduct high-level scientific reviews for factual accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor junior medical writers and implement processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific, medical, or life sciences field.
• Proven experience working in a healthcare communications agency environment.
• Experience writing high-quality content for a variety of medical and scientific audiences.
• Ability to act as a therapy area expert and contribute effectively to scientific discussions.
• Experience in reviewing colleagues' medical writing and coaching others.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content for digital, online, and omnichannel outputs.
• Competence in providing strategic counsel to clients.
• Experience in line-management, including resourcing and budgeting for projects.
