Head of Strategic Finance (Fintech): Building and owning the consolidated operating model for an on-demand pay digital banking platform with an accent on unit economics, financial forecasting, and strategic planning. Location: Hybrid, Must be based in New York City (office attendance at least 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Salary: $188,600 – $325,000 base + equity

hirify.global is a fintech platform providing on-demand pay and digital banking services to hourly workers through embedded partnerships with payroll and workforce management apps.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and defend the consolidated operating model, overseeing revenue, expenses, and unit economics.
• Lead the end-to-end annual budget process and maintain weekly rolling forecasts with actionable variance analysis.
• Develop financial models to support fundraising, investor decks, due diligence, and new product economics.
• Conduct pricing and take-rate analysis for new and existing partnerships.
• Synthesize inputs from product, partnerships, and data science teams into a coherent financial picture.
• Scale and automate financial processes, evolving tools to be AI-native for maximum operating leverage.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience, ideally with a foundation in IB, PE, or consulting.
• 2+ years of experience owning FP&A or strategic finance at a growth-stage startup (Series B through D).
• Proven track record of building or rebuilding company operating models from scratch.
• Experience supporting fundraising efforts, including managing data rooms and investor models.
• Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, SQL, and Pigment (preferred) or Anaplan.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or STEM.

Nice to have

• Fintech experience, specifically in earned wage access, lending, or payments.
• Expertise in modeling credit risk, default curves, or loan-level economics.
• Experience building financial infrastructure in hyper-growth environments.
• Ability to construct relational databases and build dashboards in Tableau, Pigment, or Sheets.
