Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (TypeScript/Python)

Location: Hybrid work from the San Francisco or New York office approximately 3 days a week.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity and premium health and wellness benefits.

hirify.global provides a workflow builder for organizing and transforming data from PDFs, emails, spreadsheets, and other sources so teams can automate manual work without engineering support.

What you will do

• Develop new product functionality from technical planning through implementation, testing, and end-customer validation.
• Build the logic behind hirify.global flows and generalize shared calculation logic.
• Write performant TypeScript and Python code across the stack.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability as the product and customer base grow.
• Work with product managers, customer-facing teams, and customers to identify product improvements and solve unique problems.
• Help define engineering processes and practices for continued growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously delivered codebase.
• Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Professional experience working with AI or LLMs, either by building an AI-powered tool or using AI tools to improve engineering impact.
• Commitment to stable, secure, and maintainable engineering practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid format from the San Francisco or New York office approximately 3 days per week.
