What you will do

  • Own and grow a book of existing nonprofit customers by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead consultative discovery sessions to match clients with higher-tier solutions.
  • Proactively outbound into strategic accounts using personalized, creative tactics.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer to provide feedback to Product and CS teams.
  • Experiment with new expansion playbooks and outreach sequences to accelerate net revenue retention.
  • Become an expert on institutional fundraising and post-grant award management.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the continental US.
  • 1–3 years of account management, customer success, or closing experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to handle expansion or upsell components within a sales cycle.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Tech-savviness with experience in tools like HubSpot, G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and AI tools like Claude.
  • High level of empathy, curiosity, and proactivity in solving customer problems.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into the nonprofit market or working in nonprofit fundraising.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Experience working remotely.
