TL;DR

Die Maker Apprentice (Tool and Die): Learn and support die build activities from design approval through customer approval with an accent on blueprint interpretation, die assembly, and meeting timing, delivery, and quality requirements. Focus on hands-on shop work, coordinating with stakeholders, and following the Quality System while gradually taking on more independent responsibility.

What you will do

• Coordinate and facilitate die build from design approval through customer approval.
• Support understanding and execution of timing, delivery, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Assemble die details onto the die set and develop trim line.
• Coordinate with management and communicate clearly with stakeholders to deliver a quality product.
• Adhere to the Quality System and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience from a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and interest in advancement in a manufacturing environment.
