What you will do
- Draft, negotiate, and manage strategic commercial agreements with payment networks, processors, and platform partners.
- Advise on digital wallet integrations, crypto, and stablecoin product initiatives from a commercial and risk perspective.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and design pragmatic, business-aligned solutions.
- Manage data ownership, sharing, and governance structures within commercial deals.
- Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks to support rapid company growth.
- Experiment with AI tools to improve legal team velocity, knowledge management, and contract review workflows.
Requirements
- J.D. and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate and commercial law, including at a leading law firm and in-house at a fintech or financial services business.
- Significant experience with payments ecosystems, including processor partnerships and network arrangements.
- Experience advising on digital wallet products and crypto-adjacent topics.
- Strong working knowledge of data rights, governance, and security terms in commercial contracts.
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-moving environment with a business-first mindset.
