TL;DR

Location: Remote (Americas). Candidates must have a J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Salary: $180,000 – $275,000 + Equity

hirify.global is a global platform that enables businesses to send thousands of payouts, including gift cards and money, to millions of recipients worldwide.

What you will do

  • Own day-to-day product and regulatory counseling for the US-focused payouts platform.
  • Translate US payments and consumer-protection requirements into pragmatic product guardrails and internal guidance.
  • Negotiate and draft customer agreements to scale the contracting engine and maintain fast cycle times.
  • Develop playbooks, checklists, and templates to create operational leverage for the team.
  • Act as a generalist within a small legal team to handle various high-priority matters.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of legal experience, preferably including in-house time at a tech or fintech company.
  • Strong foundation in US financial regulatory issues (consumer protection, payment rails, partner-bank/processor models).
  • J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Ability to turn legal ambiguity into practical product recommendations and handle tradeoffs.
  • Solid drafting and negotiation skills for commercial agreements.
  • Must be based in the Americas.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with bank partners, processors, or card/prepaid programs.
  • Experience supporting audits, responding to regulator diligence, or managing outside counsel.
