What you will do

• Architect and ship subsystems across the full stack using React, Remix, and Node.js.
• Design and implement core application builders that allow educators to create AI apps using natural language.
• Build real-time collaboration features and sophisticated AI agent systems for educational goals.
• Create mobile-first experiences and integrations with platforms like Google Workspace and Canvas LMS.
• Mentor engineers on fullstack development, design patterns, and app architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, ML engineers, and customers to solve real-world needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production web applications across frontend and backend.
• Strong proficiency with modern React frameworks (Remix) and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of databases, APIs, and external service integrations.
• Proven ability to work effectively with designers and translate complex designs into functional features.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for a remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or building AI-powered interfaces.
• Background in real-time collaborative features (WebSockets, CRDTs).
• Experience with educational technology or mission-driven organizations.
