What you will do

• Process, verify, and book incoming invoices end-to-end.
• Prepare payment runs and manage company credit cards and employee expenses.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle month-end activities, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and vendor balance reconciliation.
• Support internal controls, compliance, and annual audit preparations.
• Improve accounting processes using databases and AI-powered tools.

Requirements

• Degree in business administration or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience or internships in accounting/AP.
• Basic understanding of German accounting standards (HGB).
• Solid Excel skills.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.
• Must be based in Berlin for a hybrid work model.
