Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Own product execution for AI-powered tools, including prioritization, specifications, incremental delivery, and scope tradeoffs.
• Expand creator capabilities such as components and agents for building AI-native software.
• Develop curriculum knowledge graphs, organizational knowledge bases, moderation systems, and safety features.
• Work directly with engineering, ML, design, learning, partnerships, and leadership teams.
• Gather educator feedback, usage data, and partner insights to guide product decisions.
• Establish product rituals, documentation, communication patterns, and decision-making processes as the first product manager.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including experience in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
• Experience leading AI-powered or technically complex products and collaborating fluently with ML and engineering teams.
• Ability to write detailed requirements, make decisions with incomplete information, and communicate complex tradeoffs clearly.
• Experience shipping incrementally and de-risking product development without cutting corners.
• Interest in education, equity, or mission-driven work.

Nice to have

• Experience in edtech or familiarity with K-12 or higher education environments.
• Experience with platforms where users build content or applications.
• Experience with responsible AI, content moderation, or trust and safety products.
• Deep familiarity with the AI and LLM product landscape.
