What you will do

• Own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and write clear technical specifications.
• Collaborate directly with engineering, ML, and design teams to ship incremental product updates.
• Establish product rituals, artifacts, and communication patterns to align a growing team.
• Engage with educators to gather feedback and translate field insights into actionable priorities.
• Make critical tradeoffs between scope, timeline, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Refine product strategy based on usage data and evolving technical possibilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including work in early-stage or high-growth environments.
• Proven track record leading product development for AI-powered or technically complex products.
• Ability to work fluently with ML and engineering teams to understand technical constraints.
• Experience building product processes from scratch rather than following existing structures.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
• Passion for education, equity, and mission-driven work.

Nice to have

• Experience in edtech or familiarity with K-12/higher education environments.
• Background in platform product management where users build their own tools.
• Experience with responsible AI, content moderation, or trust and safety initiatives.
• Deep familiarity with the current AI/LLM product landscape.
